Himalaya College of Engineering – HCOE

Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) located at Chyasal, Lalitpur is one of the top TU affiliated private engineering college in Nepal. The college behind ANFA Football Ground, Chyasal also holds Bsc. CSIT (Computer Science And Information Technology) along with engineering of various streams. The college sas established in June 2000 and was located previously at Sankhamul and shifted to new building from 2013. Himalya College of Engineering and CSIT has been conducting BE programs of under affiliation of Tribhuvan University (TU), Institute of Engineering (IOE), in Computer Engineering(BCT), Electronics and Communication Engineering(BEX), Civil Engineering(BCE) and Bachelor of Architecture  program. The College has been associated with Kathmandu Model College (KMC) which own various schools and colleges in Kathmandu.

The intake capacity of Himalaya College of Engineering is as follows:

  1. Civil Engineering: 96
  2. Electronics and Communication Engineering: 48
  3. Computer Engineering: 66
  4. Architecture: 24

The college provides two types of scholarships to deserving candidates for which every students should pass the entrance exam conducted by Entrance Exam Department of IOE.

  • IOE Scholarship: It is provided to 10% of the students of each faculty based on the percentage obtained in the entrance exam of IOE. The students awarded with IOE scholarship need not to pay semester fees but only extra curricular and exam fees at the end of each semester.
  • Semester Scholarship: The student securing highest marks in the board exam of IOE is provided this scholarship which includes the semester fee waiver.
